What is Global Warming?

Earth surrounded by cracked and dry land representing environmental degradation.

So, you might have heard a lot about Global Warming, and you might think What is Global Warming?

In this blog, you will get to know the details of what is global warming, its effects, and circumstances.

Along with the solutions to overcome Global Warming.

Introduction:

Definition of Global Warming and Greenhouse Gases:

Global warming is a phenomenon defined as the rising temperature of the Earth’s surface due to the increase in greenhouse gases.

On the other hand, green house effect is a natural process crucial to make Earth a habitable place. The greenhouse gases mainlyCO2, CH4, N2O, O3 and etc., traps heat near the Earth’s surface to keep the Earth warm.

If the process of trapping heat near the Earth’s surface doesn’t occur the temperature might drop to Negative (-36) degree and no life could survive.

Therefore, it might be relevant saying that Global warming is undesirable while greenhouse effect is desirable.

Origin of Global Warming?

Global warming started after Industrialization as the world slowly became dependent upon the fossil fuels for energy generation. Secondly, vehicular emissions is another cause because the more the vehicles running from diesel, oil, and gas in the world, would produce more pollution and the more the release of GHG. Subsequently, urbanization led to deforestation. Forests are considered as Carbon sink but less the forests less would CO2sink. In addition to it, there are other causes as well.

The implications of Global Warming include the flash floods, increased earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, glacial melt, sea level rise, ozone depletion, erratic precipitation patterns, prolong droughts, etc.

Solution Of Global Warming:

The only way to tackle this major rising issue is the shift towards renewable energy resources, forestation, usage of electronic and hybrid vehicles and many more.
